10-year-old Aquan Lewis died after he was found hanging in the boys bathroom during school hours

An autopsy was scheduled for today for 10-year-old Aquan Lewis, who was found hanging from a coat hook in the bathroom of his elementary school in Evanston, Illinois.

Yesterday, as kids were getting ready to leave Oakton Elementary school, the fifth grader was found hanging from the hook in the bathroom.

Lewis was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead early this morning.

Police spent several hours yesterday questioning teachers and staff at the school.

It is not clear how long the boy was hanging on the hook, and how long he was missing from his classroom.
