Workers renovating Julianne Moore New York City home allegedly stole more than $120,000 worth of jewelry from her Manhattan apartment over the summer.
The award-winning actress said she was working in Canada while her five-story West Village apartment was being renovation. She said when she returned $127,000 worth of jewelry, including a $33,000 Cartier platinum tennis bracelet along with four Cartier watches worth a combined $77,800 were missing.
Julianne said the jewelry were taken sometime between June 6 and August 28 while she was in Toronto filming the remake of the horror movie “Carrie”.
As of press time none of the 25 workers were arrested.
In 2006 Julianne had placed the same 6 bedroom townhouse on the market for $12 million. After receiving no offers she took it off the market.
