Police have identified the 13-year-old New Haven boy who was accidentally shot by his friend Sunday night Marquell Banks.
Banks was accidentally shot by his friend he playing with a gun inside a home on Porter Street.
Police in New Haven, Connecticut, are investigating the death of a 13-year-old boy, who died from a gunshot wound Sunday night.
It is believed that teenager was with a group of other kids who were playing around with a gun they found. The gun accidentally went off 7:30 p.m. Sunday and a bullet struck the teen in his head.
Reports say the teenager did not live at the address where he was shot.
There were two adults inside the home at the time of the accident.
Police are trying to determine which one of the teenagers fired the weapon.
The teenager was a 7th-grader at the Fair Haven School in New Haven.
