Akeal Christopher was taken off life support after he was left brain-dead from a June 27 shooting in Bushwick, cops said.

The teenager’s mother decided to remove the tubes on his birthday.

“He was 14 years old when he got shot. Today is his birthday, I’m suffering,” said his mother Natasha Christopher. “The people who did this need to be brought to justice. I’ve been going through hell.”

Reports say 14-year-old Akeal Christopher, who was shot Wednesday night after leaving a party, is now brain dead.

The teenager, who graduated from middle school on Tuesday, was walking home with friends when they were approached by a group of thugs wearing dark clothing who asked them if they were members of a local gang.

Reports say Christopher began running away from the thugs and one opened fire hitting him in the temple.

The suspect is still at large.

A 14-year-old New York City boy leaving a party Wednesday night was shot on a Brooklyn street by a group of teenagers he had exchanged words with.

Authorities said the unnamed teen was walking home with a group of friends in his Bushwick neighborhood around 11:00 p.m. when they encountered a group of teenagers at the corner of Evergreen Avenue and Cornelia Street.

Words were exchanged between the two groups and someone from the other group pulled out a gun and shot the teenager in the temple.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where as of press time he was listed in critical condition.

As of press time police did not have anyone in custody.
