Authorities in New York City said three people were shot, one fatally, during a basketball game in the Bronx Sunday night.
The deceased was a four year old boy.
A dispute during a game at a playground on East 165th Street in the Forest Houses in Morrisania ended with shots being fired around 9:40 p.m. Sunday.
Two men, who have not been identified, were injured. One was shot in the stomach and the other in the arm. They are both listed in stable condition at Lincoln Hospital.
It’s unclear whether the two men were the suspects involved in the shooting.
Authorities said the child, who has not been identified, was in a nearby playground when he was hit by a stray bullet.
