A 4-year-old New York City boy died yesterday after drowning in a relative’s swimming pool.
EMTs were called to a house in Queens around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday after little Christos Voulkoudis was found unconscious in a relative’s swimming pool at a home on Beverly Road in the Douglas Manor neighborhood.
Christos was rushed to North Shore Hospital on Long Island where he was pronounced dead.
Reports say Christos, who was attending an Independence Day party at the home, was playing near the pool when he fell in.
His mother is said to have been nearby when he fell in.
