4-year-old Plymouth boy drowned in small pond on neighbor’s property

Police and relatives searching for a 4-year-old Connecticut boy Saturday afternoon found the child unconscious in a pond behind his neighbor’s backyard in Plymouth.

The police was reported missing around 4:45 p.m. Saturday in the area of Keegan Road.

He was rushed to Bristol Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The incident, which appears to have been an accident, is being investigated.
