46-year-old woman found dead in Toronto bathtub

Toronto police responding to an emergency call at a home in Summerhill Gardens, found residents attempting to resuscitate a neighbor who was found unconscious in her bathtub.

Shortly before 8:00p.m. Wednesday, someone inside the Yonge Street home called police after finding the 46-year-old resident in the bathroom.

By the time police arrived, the victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead.

Police are treating the death as suspicious.
