A 49-year-old upstate New York woman is facing 90 days in jail for walking into two stores butt naked, not even wearing shoes.

On Tuesday of this week, Barbara Lafleur, of Saratoga Springs, walked into the Curtis Lumber store without a stitch of clothing.

Shocked customers and employees said as she walked up and down the aisles she told people to “have a good day.”

After the lumber store, LaFleur walked into nearby Stewart’s Shop along Route 67, where a very observant manager asked her if she was aware that she was naked.

The manager called 911 but by the time officers arrive LaFleur had already fully dressed.

LaFleur was charged with misdemeanor public lewdness.

When she was arrested, LaFleur told officers that she has a right to walk freely in the nude as a form of “self-expression.”

She was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation and mental health officials concluded that she was NOT suffering from any mental issues.

Isn’t Saratoga Springs close to Woodstock?  Whatever happened to spirit of the 1960s?
