82-year old billionaire George Soros engaged to 40-year-old Tamiko Bolton

Billionaire George Soros told family and close friends who attended his 82^nd birthday celebration at his Hamptons home that he and his 40-year-old girlfriend, Tamiko Bolton, are engaged.

Soros, who according to Forbes is the seventh-richest person in American with a net worth of about $22billion dollars, said he and Bolton plan to marry next summer in Southampton.

Soros and Bolton met in New York City in 2008 at a luncheon.

Bolton, who grew up in California, earned an MBA from the University of Miami and works as a consultant in health care and education.

Soros, who has five children, was married and divorced twice.

Meanwhile, Brazilian actress Adriana Ferreyr, who dated Soros for a short period, filed a lawsuit against the billionaire investor last year claiming that he reneged on a promise to buy her a New York City apartment.

Ferreyr claims that he gave a $2.5million apartment to Bolton, whom she described as Soros’ “traveling nurse” in her lawsuit.
