A paramedic stripped down to his thong underwear after a supermarket refused to sell him alcohol while on duty

A British paramedic is accused of stripping down to his thong underwear after a cashier at a supermarket refused to sell him alcohol while he was on duty.

The unidentified 40 something man, became irritated when told it was the store policy not to sell alcohol to anyone wearing a uniform.

Witnesses said the man, who had entered the store with a woman, left the woman at the register and stormed out of the store, then returned a few minutes later wearing only his thong underwear and his socks and said to the same cashier, “Now, I’m not wearing my uniform anymore, will you serve me now?”

The cashier called the manager who also refused to sell the now-half naked man alcohol.

The paramedic is now facing disciplinary action and the possibility of a suspension.
