Accident between two Mercedes in Midwood killed Salmir Gutic

An accident between two silver Mercedes Benz in Brooklyn Monday night ended in one fatality.

Witnesses said one vehicle was inches into the street at a stop sign on Avenue I and East Eighth Street when the other luxury vehicle slammed into it.

The vehicle that was at the stop sign spun and hit a pole.  The driver, who was identified as 34-year-old Salmir Gutic, died from his injuries.

Two men in the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

No arrests have been made; however, the accident is still being investigated.
