Actress Demi Moore received a suicidal message on her Twitter page

A disturbed woman sent a suicidal message to actress Demi Moore on Twitter stating that she was going to end her life.

The woman left a message, which read, “Getting a knife, a big one that is sharp.  Going to cut my arm down the whole arm so it doesn’t waste time.”

The message prompted people from around the country to contact police, and California authorities were able to track down the 48-year-old woman at her home unharmed.

The woman was taken to a hospital where she is undergoing psychiatric evaluation.

Moore updated her Twitter with a message, which read, “I do not know the woman.  It is my understanding that the situation was not a joke and that through the collective efforts her action was taken to provide help.”
