Actress Farrah Fawcett released from the hospital

Farrah Fawcett left the hospital Thursday with longtime companion Ryan O’Neal after being treated for internal bleeding not directly related to her cancer.

People magazine is reporting that actress Farrah Fawcett, 62, has been hospitalized in Los Angeles since last Thursday.

Fawcett, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, was undergoing chemotherapy and alternative treatments in Germany.

Last week the actress inked a deal with NBC to air the documentary of her treatment on its network.
