Alex Angulo mauled by family dog

Four-year-old Alex Angulo was mauled to death by his family’s dogs last Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

Authorities said the child was playing with the dogs in the back yard of his home on the Southwest Side section of Chicago, while his father was in the front cleaning the snow.

When the father returned to the back of the house, he saw he son’s dead body lying in the snow.

Neighbors said that the family had recently put a fence in the back yard to make sure the dogs did not get into the street.  They also said that although they did not know the family, the dogs were menacing and most people were afraid of them.

The dogs were euthanized authorities said.
