American Idol Kellie Pickler marries boyfriend of three years Kyle Jacobs

American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler married her songwriter boyfriend Kyle Jacobs on New Year’s Day.

Pickler, 24, and Jacobs were married on a private island in the Caribbean in an intimate ceremony.

The couple, who had been dating for three years, got engaged on June 15, 2010, Kellie’s deceased grandmother’s birthday.

Pickler and Jacobs met shortly after the singer broke up with her Nashville Predators player boyfriend Jordon Tootoo in 2007.
