Angry and naked, Arris Pitmon hijacked a bus carrying students

Authorities in Atlanta said an angry naked man hijacked a bus carrying students and drove it for about a mile before a student confronted him.

The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon when the bus stopped to let student out.

According to authorities, once the bus stopped, Arris Pitmon darted toward it and hoisted himself in through an open window, causing the frightened bus driver to run to the back of the bus while the 23-year-old man took control of the wheel.

Atlanta police said while the bus was moving, the man abandoned the steering wheel and walked toward the back and a student ran toward the wheel, which prompted a fight between the man and the student.

While Pitmon was fighting with the student, the bus veered off the road and crashed.

Authorities said students then fled the bus through the emergency exit as onlookers subdued the man until police arrived.

Some students were taken to hospital, but there are no reports on how they are doing.
