It’s about damn time!!
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has announced a ban on this L’Oreal ad featuring British actress Rachel Weisz because of heavy airbrushing.
The ad, which is for L’Oreal’s Revitalift Repair 10, shows the 41-year-old Oscar winning actress, who has publicly taken a stand against cosmetic surgery, including the use of Botox, with an even skin tone and without her wrinkles.
Shame on L’Oreal for misleading the public into thinking that this “age defying” beauty product can make someone look 10 years younger.
They also changed the shape of her nose, eyes and chin.
Hopefully the ASA will also ban the ads with Beyonce looking more Caucasian than African American.
