At least one dead when tent collapsed in Toronto before Radiohead concert

Canadian authorities confirmed that one person died and three others were injured when a stage collapsed at a Toronto park, where the music group Radiohead was scheduled to perform.

Authorities said the outdoor structure came tumbling down shortly before 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Downsview Park in Toronto.

The deceased was not identified, but a police source said it was a man in his 30s.  The condition and the identities of the injured have not been released.

After the accident the band posted a message on Twitter saying in part: “Due to unforeseen circumstances tonight’s at Downsview Park has been cancelled. Fans are advised not to make their way to the venue.”

The accident comes on the 15^th anniversary of the release of the group’s classic album, “OK Computer.”

The accident is under investigation.
