Two best friends who were reported missing over the weekend were found floating in a New Jersey river.

Ten year old Francisco Perera and his 11-year-old friend Devine Nicholas, from New Brunswick, were reported missing Sunday night after they failed to return home from a trip to a park on Harvey Street.

The boys’ bodies were pulled from the Raritan River near the base of the Route 27 bridge in nearby Highland Park Monday afternoon.

Perera’s body was found around 3:00 p.m. and Nicholas’ body was found about three hours later.
