Brian Feltman accused of running over his pregnant girlfriend Meghann Pope killing her and unborn child

Authorities in Georgia said a 27-year-old man intentionally ran over his pregnant girlfriend killing her and their unborn child.

Prosecutors in Henry County charged Brian Feltman with murder and feticide.

Police said Feltman, whom they believe had been drinking, had gotten into an agreement with Meghann Pope, who was four months pregnant with his child.

Pope left their home on Golf View Crossing in the Heron Bay subdivision in Locust Grove around 6:30 a.m. Sunday and Feltman went looking for her in his truck.

It is believed he then intentionally ran her over with his vehicle.

Police said Pope had initially told them he found Pope lying in the roadway leading them to believe someone else had struck her with their vehicle.

Brian would not have ran her over on purpose! Drinking or not. Arguing or not this was a tragic accident. Had meaghan been on the side walk and not in the street around a dark curve god willing this would not have happened. May god be with both families and us the friends in this trying times. And GOD DAMN Henry county prosecutors for this unjust charges they have placed on Brian Feltman. Justice has been served on him with the regrets of what he could have done different. This man has loved and lost we all have. God bless!

This was to be his 5th child. He has 4 children with 4 other young girls. Which he doesn’t pay for. Not a good guy. What did the drug test show?

Just alcohol was found in his system. Because he is late on child support doesn’t make him a murdered. His cries for help is what alerted the neighbours. He wrapped his shirt around her and layed on her to try and get her to stop moving while he was on the phone with 911. Those are not the acts of a man that purposely ran his girlfriend over. The media is making Brian out to be a monster which is not the case. Dui yes involuntary manslaughter maybe. Feticide absolutely not. He was on the way home from five houses up and she was walking up the street to get him to come home. I only wish she had been on the sidewalk and not in the middle of the street. Had he not hit her somebody else could’ve. The media has the whole story wrong. Rip meghann and the unborn baby. Brian the whole community has your back.

I think Heron Bay has security cameras. Maybe there is video that will show exactly what happened.

I wasn’t there, so I don’t know the truth. But if the truth of his previous arrest are true and they’re are mug shots to prove it….it just tells me that this person thinks he doesn’t have to abide by any rules or laws. He does what he wants just like the others that wind up with mug shots. He has the same opportunity as the rest of us. He has the same ability to make choices, just like the rest of us. People that choose the criminal life will pay eventually. It’s just usually too late for precious innocent people like Meghann. I now know 2 people who have buried their young female family members due to a relationship w/a guy w/a previous record. The other case…is a teenage girl was murdered by her boyfriend a few years ago in Clayton Co. I’m not Brian he did it because I don’t know, but he was there. Meghann, Brian and GOD knows the truth!

All you people that think he is SOO innocent…you dont know what i know, and soon everyone will know..look at his arrest record, look at some of the people he hung out with.
Forensics will prove to you that he did it intentionally. he lied to the police, said he just found her, and then later admitted it. he needed another child like he needed another hole in the head! people do make mistakes, but he struck meghann with his truck in ANGER, she was trying to leave him and he killed her! thats not an accident. the cops dont just get to leave someone in jail for no reason, certain evidence is presented to a judge who then decides whether he is released to await trial or has a bond or has no bond. so obviously they have sufficient evidence. only meghann knows the full truth but forensic will help us get to that truth. as far as u claiming just alcohol was in his system, you are not the person doing the tox report, in fact the results should be in soon, and im willing to bet it was more than alcohol..and the whole community does NOT have his back. and im betting she was on the sidewalk until he called her to her and had her come over to the truck, she probably didnt want to get in and walked away cause he was drunk and that is more than likely when she got hit. use your heads people!

How the hell can you say he shouldnt be charged with feticide? Heartless is what describes you! Just because she wasnt here yet doesnt make her not a human being! He deserves everything he gets he ran her over not once but twice!!! Hows that an acident?
