British soap opera star Samia Smith discovered a dead body in a van

A British soap opera star and her real estate developer husband discovered a dead body in the back of a van while visiting family members in Sale, Greater Manchester.

Camia Smith, who plays a hairdresser on the British soap Coronation Street, and her husband, Matthew, made the grisly discovery on Sunday after they had gone to investigate a barking sound coming from inside a van.

The couple saw the body of a man in his twenties through the back window of a red Vauxhall Combi and called 911.

Neighbors said the vehicle had been parked on the quiet tree-lined street the entire weekend.
