Brooklyn cops shot and killed woman after chase in East Flatbush

A car chase between New York City police officers and a 30-something year old woman ended with a woman dead on a Brooklyn street.

The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. Thursday in East Flatbush.

It’s unclear what led to the chase, but when the woman got to the corner of East 38^th Street and Church Avenue she crashed her vehicle into a minivan.

The officers ordered her exit her vehicle but she put it in reverse and began pulling away.

Officers fired at the woman hitting her.

She was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where she died.
