Two Canadian sisters from the Montreal area were found dead in southern Thailand on Friday.
The bodies of 20-year-old Audrey Belanger and her 25-year-old sister, Noemi, were discovered in their hotel room at the Phi Phi Palms Residence on Phi Phi Island around 9:00 p.m.
Authorities said there was vomit in the sisters’ hotel room and they had skin lesions and their fingernails and toenails were blue.
It is believed they had been dead for between 12 and 20 hours when their bodies were discovered.
Canadian authorities said the sisters were students at University Laval in Quebec City and they worked in their father’s grocery store in their hometown of Pohenegamook.

They therefore did not die of those things.
Murder absolutely cannot be ruled out, especially in a murderous, often-lawless country like Thailand.
