Pennsylvania police responding to a minor car accident on Saturday discovered the bodies of four people stabbed to death inside a Northampton home.
District Attorney John Morganelli said when police arrived at the scene of the accident the driver was covered in “so much blood” that they knew it wasn’t all from the crash.
The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, eventually came clean, and then led police to the home, where three bodies were found on the first level and the fourth in the basement.
Authorities have not released the names of the victims.
A motive for the killings is still unclear.
