Before the football game started last Sunday, Martin made what some considered to be a homophobic remark about a New England Patriots player who arrived at the arena in a pink jumpsuit.

“He needs a visit from #teamwhipdata,” Martin tweeted.

Martin was at it again during the game after watching the H&M underwear ad with soccer player David Beckham.

Martin, whom many believe is gay, tweeted “If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him! #superbowl.”

CNN was bombarded with complains about the tweets and on Monday they suspended Martin.

Martin later said his tweet about the underwear ad was “meant to be a deliberately over-the-top and sarcastic crack about soccer.  I do not advocate violence of any kind against anyone gay, or not.”

The boy and his family were in NYC on Chinese New Year’s Eve when the father, who identified himself as ‘Eagle Daddy’, stripped his son, Duo Duo, down to his underwear and forced him to run around a street in China Town.

Shivering in the cold, the poor child pleaded with his father, who was filming the incident, to give him a hug.

“Eagle Daddy”, who has since returned to his home in the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing, justified his behavior by saying that his son’s regiment is only going to make him stronger and defy the odds of survival that was given to him at birth.

The 44-year-old father said he was told by doctors that his son, who was born prematurely, would have developmental problems.  He said he was told that Duo Duo would have cerebral palsy because he was born water in the brain.

Since posting the video on YouTube, “Eagle Daddy” was forced to justify his behavior.   His assistant told reporters that shortly before the child went out in the snow “he did half an hour of slow running to warm up.”

The assistant also said that the boy “has received all sorts of forms of training since he was small. When he was one, he started swimming in water that was 21 degrees Celsius.”

The assistant said that “Eagle Daddy” is not concerned about the negative responses he is receiving since posting the video online because “the fact that the child lived showed that he has tenacious vitality.”

Other reports say the child endures eight hours of daily exercise which includes swimming, mountain climbing, bicycle riding and martial arts.

Duo Duo is said to have a genius level IQ of 218.

Wendy Peatree told reporters that Monday’s incident was preventable because she had asked authorities for help with her son, who had been hearing voices in his head for sometime; however, she did not say why authorities refused to help her.

Peatree said her son had a history of setting fires to homes and killing animals.

“We’ve tried to get our son help,” Peatree said.  “He’s set fire to our neighbor’s trailer a few months ago…. [And] he also has been cruel to animals and killed them.”

She said last Christmas night her son took his bike and rod on Highway 460 for four miles.

The children’s father, Cecil Yates, said it took six minutes after his son set fire to their trailer for it to burn to the ground.

When questioned by police on Monday the youngster told officers that “voices in my head told me to do it.”

Two-year-old Shea Shea Yates was pronounced dead at the scene on Monday.  Her older brother is currently being assessed by Tuckers Mental Institution.

Suffield police began searching for Dale Wakefield, of Pennsylvania, around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday after he assaulted a guard at the Lincoln College of New England dormitory at 1760 Mapleton Avenue.

The campus was placed on lockdown after the teenager threatened to kill himself and others, however, the lockdown was lifted around 4:00 a.m. after Wakefield was deemed to be non violent.

Reports say Wakefield, whose father recently passed away, was drinking just before he went “ballistic” picking up tables, smashing windows and fighting with the guard.

According to reports, the elderly Taiwanese man, known as Chen, had just finished having sex with the prostitute, which lasted about 30 minutes straight, when he got up to get some money to pay for his moment of pleasure.

The prostitute told police that after Chen paid her he was putting on his pants when all of a sudden he collapsed.

The woman called a rescue team and Chen was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Doctors later found his dentures stuck in his throat.

Authorities have identified the 19-year-old woman who was killed early Monday morning on the Gardiner Expressway as Katelyn Traverso.

It is still unclear whether Traverso, who was an aspiring actress and model from Orangeville, was pushed or jumped from an eastbound Toyota Corolla when she struck by a tractor trailer.

Police are still investigating whether the incident was an accident or a homicide.

Canadian authorities are investigating how a 19 year-old Toronto area woman ended up on a busy highway early Monday morning.

The woman, who has not been identified, was found on the eastbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway around 2:30 a.m. Monday.

Authorities believe she was a passenger in a vehicle but it’s unclear whether she jumped or was thrown from the vehicle.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

The death has been ruled a murder-suicide.

According to reports, a little after 12:00 p.m. Sunday a social worker arrived at Powell’s home with his two children for a supervised visit.  As the boys were entering the home, Powell got in front of the social worker and blocked her from coming inside.

The social worker, who smelled gas inside the home, quickly called her supervisors; however, before emergency services arrived the house exploded.

Moments before the incident, Powell sent his lawyer, Jeffrey Bassett, an email saying, “I’m sorry, goodbye,” however, Bassett did not get open that email until several hours later.

Powell’s sons, Charlie, 5, and Branden, 2, were removed from his home after his father, Steven Powell, whom Josh had been living with, was arrested on child porn and voyeurism charges last fall. The children were then sent to live with their maternal grandparents.

Last Wednesday, a judge had denied an attempt made by Josh Powell to regain custody of his children until he underwent a psycho-sexual evaluation.

Josh Powell’s wife, Susan, disappeared from their West Valley City, Utah, home in December 2009.

According to the arrest report, a Martin County Sheriff’s deputy observed Maureen Raymond driving erratically in the area of U.S. 1 and Jensen Beach Boulevard around 9:20 p.m. on January 29.

The officer motion to Raymond to pull over her vehicle, which she did in a Walgreen’s parking lot.

The report says as the deputy approached the vehicle he “detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage” and saw a glass, which smelled like alcohol, on the passenger side of the vehicle.

The police report says as the officer was conducting a roadside sobriety test he asked Raymond to extend both hands and she told him, “hell no not with these,” pointing to her breasts.

Raymond then proceeded to tell the officer that her “big bosoms make balancing difficult.”

The officer wrote in his report “I asked her if she wanted to attempt the task and she stated if I hold her hand.”  He said Raymond then began to dance before attempting to take her clothes off to show the officer her breasts.

The report did not mention the size of Raymond’s breasts.

James Koenig reported his daughter missing after she failed to return home from work on Wednesday.

Police reviewing surveillance video from her workplace, Common Grounds Espresso, saw Samantha Koenig being taken away by an armed man.

Koenig’s boyfriend told reporters that he had spoken to the missing teenager shortly before she was kidnapped and had told her that he was on his way to pick her up from work.  He said when he arrived at her job she wasn’t there.

“I had the only means of transportation for her and I got off work and went to go get her and she wasn’t there.  It was a mess,” Koenig’s boyfriend Dwayne said.

On Saturday James Koenig pleaded for the safe return of his daughter.

“I want to ask for her captors that they will please send my daughter home,” James Koenig said during a press conference on Saturday.  “I will give you anything in this world.  Call me anonymously, you don’t have to go through the police, I will meet you, I will give you whatever you want.”

The missing girl’s family is offering a $12,500 reward for her safe return.
