Taleek Brooks, an aide at Public School 243 in Bedford Stuyvesant, had been out on $100,000 bail when he was for the second time.  He was originally arrested on January 13 on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.

Brooks, who was suspended without pay after his arrest last month, was re-arrested after FBI agents discovered that some of the child porn videos on his home computer were shot at the school where he worked.

Reports say some of the videos showed Brooks touching a boy’s genitals and spanking a naked child in a school classroom at PS 243, which is also known as The Weeksville School.

When he was first arrested, Brooks admitted to downloading and sharing more than 1,000 digital child porn files with other pedophiles over a seven-year period.

Authorities first became aware of the crime after Brooks began chatting with an FBI agent, who was pretending to be a child, on an internet site.

According to the arrest report, Brooks told the agent that he likes “black boys 10 years old or older.”

Brooks, who also worked at an after school program, the Madison Square Boys and Girls club which was held at the school, had been employed with the BOE since 1995.

Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent John Deasy told reporters that the district never received any complaints from parents or students about Mark Berndt, who had been a teacher at Miramonte Elementary School in an unincorporated area of South Los Angeles for more than 30 years.

Sixty-one year old Berndt was arrested at his home on Monday following a year-long investigation.

Authorities said a film processer developing pictures for Berndt notified law enforcement after seeing the child porno.

Sources close to the investigation said some of the images show Berndt with his arm around children, ages 6 to 10, and some with his hand over their mouths.

There were also images of girls with a blue plastic spoon filled with a substance, which detectives later determined to be semen.  Authorities said a blue plastic spoon was recovered from Berndt’s classroom and it tested positive for semen, which had Berndt’s DNA.

There were also images of children with large, live cockroaches on their faces.

Authorities are urging parents to have their children, who were in Berndt’s class between 2008 and 2010, tested for sexually transmitted diseases.

Berndt, who was fired after police began their investigation, is being held on a $2.3 million bail.

After a two-month investigation, Brandon J. Bergthold, of the 700 block of West North Avenue in Frankford Square, was charged on Friday with two counts of indecent solicitation of a child and one count of traveling to meet a minor.

Authorities began to investigate Bergthold on November 30, when a member of the Cook County Sheriff’s Police Child Exploitation Unit, who was monitoring ads on Craigslist, spotted the unusual ad asking fathers to allow him to have sex with their daughters for money.

An undercover detective posing as a father contacted Bergthold and offered to give him his fictitious 6-year-old daughter to satisfy his sexual addiction.

Authorities said after two months of communicating with Bergthold all of a sudden he showed an urgency to have sex with the child this weekend.

Fearing that Bergthold would find another victim, the officer decided to meet with him on Thursday at the Will County motel.  When he arrived, officers arrested him without incident.

It’s been reported when while he was being handcuffed Bergthold thanked the officers for saving him from his addiction to child porn.

It’s also been reported that Bergthold posted about 117 messages on Craigslist appealing for individuals to carry out his fantasies, including ads for women who wanted to be raped.

Jennifer Mahoney, of Manalapan, was charged with two counts of sexual exploitation, aggravated sexual assault of a minor, child endangerment and child pornography.

She is currently being held at the Monmouth County Correctional Institute.

Mahoney was arrested on December 13, after FBI agents found the videos and an email notifying the man that she had made the videos, on the pedophile’s computer on October 2, 2011.

Authorities say Mahoney was babysitting a friend’s child when she live-streamed herself having sexual contact with the girl via Skype to a Robert Ramos Jr. in Texas.

In one of the three videos, which agents confiscated, Mahoney was seen having oral sex with the child while the girl was asleep.  In another, Mahoney was seen laughing and telling the child, who was in a bathtub to bend over so she can rinse her off.

The child then asked Mahoney, “Like a mermaid?” to which she replied “Like a mermaid, sweetheart,” before penetrating the child with her finger.

Authorities say the crime took place in Mahoney’s elderly father’s home, who was not aware of the assaults.

It is unclear whether Mahoney suffers from a mental illness.

Sixty nine year old Phillip Bruce Shepard, who worked at a private Phnom Penh clinic, was arrested last July after the boys’ parents filed a complaint against him.

 Authorities began monitoring the Michigan native behavior and they caught him going into a hotel with two boys, whom he paid to have sex with.

The judge who sentenced Shepard also ordered that he is expelled from the country after he serves his time.

Police in Massachusetts arrested 47-year-old Grant Smith, of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Saturday afternoon immediately after his Delta flight landed at Logan International Airport.

Passengers in first class complained to airline staff that Smith had been watching child pornography on his laptop during the flight.

Smith, who was charged with possession of child pornography, is being held on $15,000 bail.

Robert Burke, the former principal of Sageville Elementary School, was sentence on Monday during a hearing in federal court in Cedar Rapids.

Forty-three year old Burke had pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography in August.

 FBI arrested Burke last June without incident at his home in Dubuque after agents in Washington DC linked his computer to images of child pornography that were being shared on the Internet.

During the raid of Burke’s home, agents found a collection of child pornography on several hard drives.  During an interview that same day, Burke told authorities about how he hid cameras at the school.

He said between January and June of this year, he hid a small video camera near a bathroom sink.  In addition, he said he attached a camera on his belt to capture images of the genitals of at least 59 male students between the ages of 5 and 11.

Ward Crawley, a special agent with Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, testified on Monday that Burke save the video files on his computer with the child’s first name and last initial.

Authorities say during an online chat with another pedophile, Burke said he had images of “boys peeing at urinals.

Burke, a former Catholic school principal who had been at Sageville since 2004, denied ever sexually abusing any of the children, and a federal investigation did not uncover any evidence to the contrary.

The Associated Press somehow got hold of an email that Mike McQueary- the coach who walked in on Jerry raping the 10-year-old boy in 2002- wrote to an anonymous source.

The email reads: “You are the first person I have told this…and I don’t know you extremely well…and I have been told by officials to not say anything….I did stop it, not physically….but made sure it was stopped when I left that locker room….I did have discussions with the official at the university in charge of police….no one can imagine my thoughts or wants to be in my shoes for those 30-45 seconds…trust me.”

“Do with this what you want…but I am getting hammered for handling this the right way….or what I thought at the time was right….I had to make tough impacting quick decisions.  This is off record…again…I have not and will not say anything to anyone else.”

This is nothing more than bunch hogwash…. First Mike says, “I don’t know you extremely well,” before ranting on trying to clear his conscious.  Then, he goes on to say “I have been told by officials to not say anything, [but] I did stop.”

Mike went on to tell the source, “This is off record,” right before he says, but you can “do with this what you want.”

Come on Mike, this is one of the oldest tricks in the book.  You are looking for sympathy from the public, so you write an email to someone you know has a big mouth and will turn it over to the media.

Police arrested Rajiv Pandey shortly after he placed the called to Cablevision New 12 on Friday.

Reports say the 33-year-old Central Islip man called the station Friday night warning he would place a bomb inside an unspecified LIPA facility, forcing authorities to search 30 LIPA locations.

No bombs were found but Pandey was arrested after police tracked him down through the cell phone he used to make the call.

In an interview with NBC’s Nightline, Corey Feldman blames Haim’s drug addiction, which eventually led to his death at the age in 2010 on the older Hollywood moguls who abused little boys.

Feldman said he and his fellow “Lost Boys” co-star were “literally surrounded by pedophiles” since they were 14, but they did not realized it until they were much older.

Feldman said there is on Hollywood mogul, whom he refused to name, who preys on young boys.

“There was a circle of older men that surrounded themselves around this group of kids,” Feldman told Nightline.  “They all had either their own power or connections to great power in the entertainment industry.”

Feldman said although there are a lot of good people in Hollywood, “there are people who have gotten away with pedophilia for so long that they feel that they’re above the law.”  He said the “number one problem in Hollywood was, is and always will be pedophilia.”

Feldman said Haim’s substance addiction was a symptom of molestation he experience earlier in life.  In addition to not naming the person(s) whom he felt sexually abused Haim, he did not say whether he too was sexually molested.

There are rumors that Feldman, who also struggled with alcohol and drugs when he was younger, was molested by the late Michael Jackson.  Both Feldman and Jackson denied the rumors.

Feldman and Haim, who used to be best friends, appeared in the 2008 reality show “The Two Coreys.”
