One of the women told police she was being examined by Dr. Edwin A. Njoku on October 22, 2011, in his office at Christus Medical Group, when he “forcefully had sexual intercourse with her against her will.”

The victim also told police that the 52-year-old doctor had previously assaulted her in his office located at 589 Burnside Avenue, but the sexual attack was less serious.

Authorities say after the woman filed a complaint with police, Njoku contacted her in a bid to get her to withdraw her complaint.

While police were investigating the doctor they learned that other patients were victimized in a similar manner.

Police Lt. Curt Stoldt said his department received an overwhelming amount of complaints that detectives are just taking the victims’ basic information and promising to get back to them.

Dr. Njoku was charged with first-degree sexual assault, two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, bribing a witness and first-degree unlawful restraint.

Dr. Njoku, who has offices in Windsor, Hartford and East Hartford, remains jailed and is to be arraigned in Superior Court in Manchester on Wednesday.

Former Summit Preparatory High School student David Velasquez was arrested on Wednesday and charged with kidnapping to commit rape, criminal threats, false imprisonment and assault to commit rape.

According to the arrest affidavit, Velasquez, of Redwood City was waiting for the teacher in the school’s underground garage Monday night.

As the 29-year-old teacher was walking to her vehicle Velazquez approached her from behind ordered her to get into her car while holding a knife to her throat.

The teacher dropped her keys and while she was on the ground Velasquez forced himself on her.  Before he was able to do anything another teacher came upon the scene.

Reports say although the teacher did not see Velasquez’s face she recognized his voice.

Velasquez, who was arrested a short time later at his home, is being held in San Meate County Jail on $1 million bail.

The woman who accused “Good Day New York” host Greg Kelly of raping her says she became pregnant and had an abortion as a result.

The 43-year-old son of New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly is accused of raping a woman in a downtown Manhattan law firm.

The alleged victim told police Grey Kelly, the co-host of Fox’s “Good Day New York”, attacked her last October after they had a few drinks at a South Street Seaport bar.

The accuser told police she met Kelly on October 8, 2011 at a bar at South Street Seaport for drinks.  She said after a few drinks they went to a lower Manhattan law firm where she works and that’s where Kelly raped her.

Sources say the victim continued to see Kelly after the alleged attack.

There are reports that Commissioner Kelly became aware of the alleged crime when the victim’s boyfriend confronted him at a public event; however, it is unclear when that confrontation took place.

Last Tuesday night the accuser went to the 13^th Precinct station house with her sister and filed a complaint.

The investigation was immediately turned over to the office of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance.

It is unclear why it took her three months to notify police about the alleged crime.

Greg Kelly, who denies the rape, became the co-anchor of New York City Channel 5’s “Good Day New York” in 2008.  Prior to this local show, Kelly worked for the Fox News Channel as a White House reporter.

Authorities said on May 6, the 26-year-old woman got in Gurmeet Singh’s cab outside a Williamsburg bar and asked him to take her to Manhattan.

It is alleged that after the intoxicated victim fell asleep in the taxi, Singh, of Jamaica, Queens, bound her hands with a scarf and began raping her.  When he was finished he took her cellphone and cash and then pushed her out of the cab.

Four months later, Singh attempted to assault a woman in Harlem in the same but this time the woman was able to provide police with his license and medallion numbers.

Singh, who has no prior arrests, was charged with rape, robbery, assault, menacing and sex abuse in the Brooklyn attack after police matched his DNA from forensic evidence they recovered.

He has not been charged in the Harlem incident.

Reports say the woman was denied entrance into the Congress Theater in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood around 9:30 p.m. Saturday because she did not have proper ID.

A ticket collector said he watched the woman as she walked across the street and sat down in front of a taco restaurant.  He said a few minutes later he saw the woman walking away with six men.

About 20-30 minutes later the man told police three of the men, who were wearing bloody clothing, returned and told him there was a naked woman on the sidewalk.

The employee called police and officers found the teenager unconscious and badly beaten.  The three men were later arrested.

Authorities say about 4,000 people had attended the Rusko concert.

It is unclear whether the women knew her attackers.

Dwain Pellebon, an associate professor of social work, was charged on Friday with two counts of first-degree rape and lewd acts with a child under the age of 16.

The university has since released a statement saying in part: “OU officials acted swiftly to suspend Mr. Pellebon from any contact with students and from use of any university facilities.  OU is cooperating fully with law enforcement in their investigation.  In accordance with university procedure, he was immediately placed on administrative leave with pay until more of the facts of the investigation are known at which time it could be changed to without pay.”

Pellebon, who is currently out on bail, has denied the allegations.

Earlier today, a federal grand jury in Bridgeport incident David Csanadi, of Newtown, on three counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

Csanadi has been incarcerated since April 15 of this year.

It is alleged that from 2006 until 2009, Csanadi sexually abused three children, ages, 18 months, 4 ½ years and another child who police have not been identified, inside his home.

Authorities said Csandi also taped the heinous acts.

While searching his home earlier this year, investigators found the videotapes in addition to other sexually explicit images of children he had downloaded off the internet.

If convicted of the charges, Csanadi faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.

Authorities have not said how the children ended up in Csanadi’s home.

Police said Roderico H. Duarte, of Nuttman Avenue, admitted to sexually assaulting the child over a two-year period.

The girl first told her grandmother about the molestation, and according to court records, the grandmother dismissed the child’s call for help.

The girl later told one of her friends that she had been raped and she thought she was pregnant.  That friend told one of her teachers who contacted the police.

Duarte, who was charged with five felonies, is being held in lieu of $175,000 bail.  He is also being held without bond for immigration violations.

If convicted, Duarte faces more than 60 years in prison.

There are no reports on whether the girl is really pregnant.

Claudia Tillery, a former teacher at Middle School 35, the Stephen Decatur School, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, was arrested on Tuesday.  Police say she had been involved with the boy since 2009 and she was plying him with drugs and alcohol.

Tillery was arrested around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and charged with rape, unlawful dealing of drugs and alcohol to a child, sexual misconduct, sexual abuse and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

Sources say the boy ended the relationship with the teacher earlier this year just before he went to the police with the allegations.
