Charles Shamblin Jr accused of fathering three children with his biological daughter

A 56-year-old West Virginia man is accused of fathering three children with his biological daughter.

The victim told authorities her father, Charles Shamblin Jr., started molesting her at the age of 7 and it lasted over a 13 year period.

Authorities in Charleston said the victim, who is now 35, gave birth to her first child when she was 14, her second at the age of 19 and the third at the age of 20.

A paternity test confirmed that Shamlin, who has been charged with second-degree sexual assault, incest and sexual abuse by a parent or guardian, is the father of his grandchildren.

It’s unclear whether the victim’s mother was in the household at the time of the assaults.
