Charlie Sheen’s former assistant Rick Calamaro dies of a drug overdosed: Reports

Once again Charlie Sheen came close to death!

The actor’s former assistant Rick Calamaro was found dead in his California home over the weekend.

Rick, who was with Charlie during his infamous meltdown in 2011, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment on Sunday.

TMZ quotes a police source as saying that “numerous pain medications and an open bottle of alcohol” were found inside the apartment.

TMZ says Rick was in The Plaza Hotel when the actor trashed the pricey hotel room.

The Anger Management star has not made a statement about Rick’s death.
