Cheating husband William Taylor ordered to wear humiliating sign “I cheated. This is my punishment.”

A Virginia man was ordered by his wife to stand at a street corner with a homemade sign that read, “I cheated.  This is my punishment.”

William Taylor said his wife had come up with the humiliating punishment after she found out he had cheated on her.

“I thought she was kidding, but she was serious,” Taylor told a local TV reporter. “I figured I got to do what I got to do to make things right. So here I am.”

Taylor said his wife found evidence of his affair on his cell phone and ordered him to stand on the corner 9:00 a.m. last Wednesday.

He said two hours into his humiliating ordeal, his wife called him and told him he could return home.
