Goalkeeper for Chelsea soccer team, Carlo Cudicini suffered serious injuries after his motorcycle collided with a car in London.
The 36-year-old Italian was rushed to hospital with severe injuries to his wrists and pelvis.
Authorities said a female driver and a child passenger who were in the Ford Fiesta walked away without any injuries.
Cudicini signed with Chelsea in January on a free transfer and has made eight appearances standing in for Heurelho Gomes, who is injured.
No one in today’s accident was arrested.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI do. He was a pretty good goalie. Looks like it’s so bad he may have to worry about more than just his football career.
Cudicini crashed his motorcycle into a Ford Fiesta with a female driver and a child passenger. Neither the driver or passenger were injured in the accident.
Cudicini has played for Chelsea for about ten years. The Chelsea Football Club also sends their best wishes for a full recovery to Cudicini through its website.
It is invariably refreshing to find somebody who easily knows what they’re talking about on the internet. You clearly know how to bring an issue to light and make it foremost. More people ought to read this and get the idea of this side of the story. I can not believe you are not more in because you definitely have the ability.
