Twenty-three year old makeup artist and finalist from the Lifetime reality TV show “Blush: The Search for the Next Great Makeup Artist” Todd Homme was found dead in his NY City apartment.
Homme, who was in relatively good health died in his sleep, last night says his 34-year-old partner.
According to sources who are connected with the TV show, which taped its final episode last month, but will broadcast at a later date, Homme did not win the $100,000 prize and a contract from Max Factor (Nolan Makaawaawa of Costa Mesa was the winner)
In an interview with reporters, Homme’s mother, Marianne Amster said, “They don’t know what happened to him. He was at the height of life. It is very hard, very, very hard.”
Homme’s partner Neal Krogh, who is a lighting designer for TV and Broadway shows, said they were making plans to move from NY Cit to Los Angeles next month. He said that his partner was “Happy and exuberant and his usual full of life self and excited about the move.”
It is not clear if Krogh was at home when Homme passed away.
