Did Senator John McCain hurt or kill someone in a 1964 car accident?

 According to Huffington Post, Vanity Fair magazine and the National Security News Services are looking into a car accident that Senator John McCain was involved with in 1964.  It is believe that someone was either hurt or killed in this accident.

The National Security News Services tried in August of this year to get documents from Portsmouth Naval Hospital (this is where McCain was brought after the accident) through the Freedom of Information Act, but their request was denied.  The NSNS are now suing the Navy. 

I hope we can get some answers before November 4^th.
