Take this job and shove it I ain’t working here no more…..
A 52-year-old Texas man having a bad day at work took a bulldozer and drove it through the front of his company’s building.
Lynn Benson, an employee at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers for the last 12 years, lost it on Monday and took a bulldozer and drove it into the front of his workplace shattering windows and destroying walls.
Colleagues said Benson had been working long hours and had been under pressure from his boss. They said about two hours after everyone had left for the day, Benson hopped onto the bulldozer, which he used every day as part of his job, and drove it through a chain-link fence right into the building.
When he was finished, he casually climbed off and stayed at the scene without saying a word.
Benson, who worked as an inspector and auditor of heavy equipments, was arrested a short time later and charged with felony criminal mischief.
The company’s vice president Frank Wilson said he is not sure what caused Benson to snap leaving about $1.5million worth of damages, including a broken water main.
Ritchie Bros, which has been in business for 54 years, is one of the world’s largest auctioneers for heavy equipment and trucks.
