A man in Edmonton, Canada, died early Thursday morning after being shot by a police officer.
Officers responding to a call of a distraught male found the man, who has not been identified, behind a west-end apartment building at 155th Street and 100th Ave.
Reports say the man attacked the officers with a weapon and the officers shot him twice.
He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is investigating the incident.
