A New York City Sanitation Department worker was killed this morning when he was thrown from his vehicle on a Queens street.
Witnesses told police 24-year-old Dominick Bunch was speeding through Woodhaven, when he crashed his Toyota Camry into a parked car around 3:00 a.m. Saturday.
They said Bunch came barreling down Atlantic Avenue running a red light. He struck a livery cab as he crossed 87th Street and the collision caused his vehicle to spin out of control hitting a parked car.
Bunch’s car then went flying in the air just before flipping over sending Bunch through his windshield.
He was pronounced dead at scene.
Two passengers in his vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.
It is believed Bunch was drunk at the time of the fatal accident.
