A 46-year-old California doctor, who was accused of committing a sexual crime and lewd act upon a child, committed suicide two week after posting bail.
Dr. Andrew Bourne’s body was found on Tuesday in a fish hatchery area near his home in Mammoth Lakes in Santa Barbara County.
Bourne and Mammoth Lakes resident, Joseph Walker, were arrested on January 4 and charged with sexual misconduct with a 14-yer-old girl.
Authorities say the defendants had a two-year relationship with the victim
Bourne’s attorney Ron Bamieh said the charges against his client “led to his suicide.”
Bamieh said Bourne’s wife found his body through his GPS ankle bracelet, which he was required to wear after posting bail.

I knew Andy well and an horrified at this accusation as obviously he was. He was a loving community man dedicated to helping people. sometime innocent until proven guilty does doesn’t seem to matter. Especially in the good old US of A
Nor was he accused of committing a lewd act upon a child.
