A North Carolina doctor and her husband who went missing on their wedding anniversary were found dead in a hotel room in Texas last week.
The bodies of Dr. Leslie Cargile and William Cargile were found by a staff at a Holiday Inn in Galveston. It is believed they died of a drug overdose; however, it’s unclear whether their deaths were suicide.
The couple’s 24-year-old son reported them missing when fifty-eight-year-old Leslie Cargile failed to show up to work last Monday at her medical practice in Black mountain.
Dr. Cargile and her 53-year-old husband were found dead by a hotel staff last Friday. Authorities said a number of medicine samples were found in their hotel room.
Dr. Cargile’s practice was forced to shut done when she vanished since she was the sole proprietor.
