Authorities found a body believed to be that of missing Dr. Timothy Jorden, who is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend, Jacqueline Wisniewski.
The body was found near Jorden’s home close to Lake Erie.
Friends told local reporters that the 49-year-old married doctor had been stalking Wisniewski since she ended their relationship.
It is believed he had a GPS tracking device installed in her car and once held her captive in her home for a day and a half.

New York authorities are searching for a prominent doctor who shot and killed a hospital receptionist early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday by staff who heard shots being fired in the hospital.
When they arrived, they found 33-year-old Jacqueline Wisniewski shot to death.
Authorities did not say why they suspected Dr. Timothy V. Jorden, a trauma surgeon at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, of Wisniewski’s death, but they immediately went to his home on West Arnold Drive.
Officials said the 49-year-old married doctor, who is also a former Army medic and weapons expert, had experienced some emotional problems in recent months.
