At two years and four months old, Elise Tan-Roberts from North London, England, has just become the youngest member of Mensa, with an estimated IQ of 156.

According to her parents, Edward and Louise Roberts, Elise was five months when she steered her father in his eyes and called him “Dada,” and was eight months old when she started walking.

Her parents said before her first birthday Elise was able to recognize her own written name and by 16 months, she could count from one to ten.

Based on a recommendation by a Mensa member, the Roberts’ took their daughter to see Professor Joan Freeman, a specialist education psychologist, and Prof. Freeman said Elise was “more than very bright and capable, she is gifted.”

Professor Freeman recommended her for Mensa, an organization that accepts people with an IQ of 148 and above, and she was accepted.

The average person has an IQ of 100
