Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi says, “I do”

 Congratulations to Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi!  The two tied the knot Saturday night at their home in LA. 

In May of this year with a ruling of 4-3, the California Supreme Court declared that the state Constitution protects a fundamental “right to marry” that extends equally to same-sex couples.

I believe that the only other state to recognized same sex marriages is Massachusetts.  I know that many of you (including some of my very close friends) are going to disagree with me on this, but I think this is something that was long overdue.  In my opinion, homosexuality is NOT a learned behavior.

To all my gay friends who are in a committed relationship and do not live in California or Massachusetts continue to fight the system, because you should have the same rights as us heterosexuals.
