Erykah Badu aka Erica Wright, gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend in NYC.

On her Twitter Web site, Badu, who delivered her baby at home, said that the birth lasted five hours and she did not take any painkillers.  Ouch!

The singer whose boyfriend is rapper Jay Electronica, has two other children from a previous relationship
