Former New York Giant wide receiver Mark Ingram was arrested Friday without incident in a hotel in Flint, Michigan.

Ingram was found guilty of bank fraud and money laundering in 2005, and was scheduled to start serving his prison sentence last month in a Kentucky federal prison, but disappeared on the day he was to start serving that sentence.

Before tracking Ingram down in Michigan, U.S marshals searched New Orleans, where his son who is a running back for the University of Alabama, was scheduled to play in Sugar Bowl matchup game against Utah.

In addition to playing with the Giants, Ingram played for Miami, Green Bay and Philadelphia.

He is scheduled to appear in a federal court in Michigan on Monday.
