According to reports, a former PTA treasurer in NYC is under investigation for allegedly embezzling $100,000.
Complaints were filed against Providence Hogan, the former PTA treasurer of Public School 29 in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn, after it was discovered that Hogan, who served as treasurer from July 2006 to fall 2010, had written several large checks to herself and cash with no accompanying documentation of what the money was for.
Reports say the 43-year-old mother-of-one used to the money on fertility treatments.
Hogan is the owner of Providence Day Spa on Atlantic Ave. She specializes in treatments for expectant mothers.
