Golden Corral is taking time to say ‘thanks’ to present and past military personnel as Veteran’s day approaches.
The buffet style restaurant is holding the 2008 Military Appreciation Monday dinner on Monday November 17, 2008 – a free meal for anyone that has served in the in the United States military. Veterans, currently active servicemen, members of the National Guard and the
Reserves are invited to break bread with their friends, family and fellow servicemen at any of Golden Corral’s locations from 5-9 PM.
Golden Corral features a “hot” bar with menu items including mashed potatoes from scratch, various chicken and pork dishes, country fried steak, fresh seafood and various vegetable sides. A “cold” bar packs everything needed for a rocking salad. In addition to the hot and cold bars, Golden Corral also offers a “Soup and Potato” bar as well as a full fledged bakery with numerous bread and dessert options.
Proof of service may be requested. Accepted forms of proof of service include a U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform
Services Retired Identification Card, DD214, LES, Citation or Commendation, Photograph in uniform, Veterans Organization Card.
