Greenwich, Connecticut, Police officer accused of harassing local woman: Sources (UPDATE)

Update: 5/19/12

An additional charge has been filed against Greenwich Police Officer Donnell “Dee” Fludd.

Officer Fludd made a brief appearance in court on Friday where he was arraigned on first-degree unlawful restraint.

The new charge was added to a list of offenses that Fludd’s former girl has accused him of.

The 32-year-old victim, who is an employee at Walgreens in Old Greenwich, claims that Fludd, who is currently on paid leave from the GPD, attacked her in her building elevator.

CORRECTION……Officer Fludd is NOT married.

When I just wrote about this story back in December 2011 I refused to identified the officer, but now that the officer has been arrested I will reveal his name.

Officer Donnell Fludd was arrested on Monday and charged with second-degree stalking, second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct.

Although he has been arrested, 43-year-old Officer Fludd is still innocent until proven guilty.

A junior Greenwich police officer was suspended with pay while authorities investigate allegations of harassment.

Greenwich Diva Productions have decided not to release the officer’s name at this time.

Sources say the alleged victim, who was in a romantic relationship with the married officer, filed a complaint with the Greenwich Police Department claiming that after she ended the affair the officer, who has several children, began following her around.

It is believed that the officer was suspended last month; however, it is not clear when she filed the complaint.
