A 40-year-old Greenwich woman was arrested at the Hyatt Regency Hotel over the weekend for allegedly kicking and spitting on a police officer.

According to the arrest report, police were called to the Old Greenwich hotel Saturday afternoon where they found an out-of-control Ilona M. Pasternak attempting to get inside a room.

While the responding officer was assessing the situation he asked Pasternak, of 3 Dale Drive, not to re-enter the room.  A defiant Pasternak began charging toward the room and as the officer was attempting to restrain her she allegedly tried to kick and punch the cop.

Pasternak was arrested and while the cop was putting her into the cruiser, she allegedly spit at the officer then bit the cop on the right arm leaving two puncture wounds.

Pasternak was charged with four counts of interfering with an officer, assault on a peace officer and disorderly conduct.

It’s unclear whether Pasternak was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
