Police were called to 245 Milbank Avenue after a woman was found in the driveway of the home suffering from a stab wound to her inner right thigh.
A nurse walking by the home assisted the woman until police arrived with their guns drawn.
After it was determined that the public was not in danger, the officers put away their weapons and tapped off the scene.
Police Lt. Kraig Gray later told reporters that the victim sustained a “suspicious injury” and they had “all involved parties”.
A resident at Agnes Morely Heights, an affordable senior housing complex across from the scene of the crime, told the Greenwich Time that “he often hears yelling from the Milbank Avenue residence.”
The victim has not been identified.
