A gunman has taken a principal hostage in an Upstate New York high school.

Stissing Mountain High School is currently on lock down after a gunman walked into the Duchess County high school earlier today with a gun.

It is believed that a 40-year-old former student is holding the principal and assistant principal as hostages.

The school is located in Pine Plains, NY, which is a rural section of NY about 90 from NYC.
